The brandy
A brandy bowl tapers toward the rim like a snifter. Bent brandies hang; straight ones sit like a tall apple. 491/26 is a dragon-scale bent brandy with a gold stem mark, listed when eBay has the serial. 494/26 is a crimson rusticated sister from the Facebook stock plates. 220/22 is an earlier bent brandy in the 2022 archive.
The egg
An egg is taller, more oval, often a little more slender at the waist. Egg 444/24 is the plate in the 2024 archive. It is not a brandy and not a billiard. The chamber still has to be even; the heel still has to be considered. The name only describes the outline.
Choosing between them
Want a bent pipe with a tapering bowl and rustication you can feel? Start with the brandies. Want more height and a quieter waist? Look at the egg. Both are stamped the same way. Both leave Yerevan one at a time.
